In a recent fixture against Stockport Grammar School the sun shone again on a glorious Saturday morning.
The Year 7 team are improving with every match and against strong opposition, drew 4 ½ sets to 4 ½ with Jessica Omassoli and team captain Abby Taylor winning every match.
The Year 8 team fared better still winning the fixture 5 ½ sets to 3 ½ with some excellent tactical play from the doubles pairings.
Although the Year 9 team lost 3 sets to 1, Amy Barrow and Rachel Fackey as first couple, and Jenny Carpenter and Charlotte Wells as second couple, drew one of their matches in a very close competition.
The Year 10 girls capped the fixture with a convincing win by 7 sets to 2 with Georgina Read and Emily Pomeroy as first couple, not dropping a set.
Well done to all the players; these are our best results against Stockport Grammar for some considerable time.
