Welcome to the 6th Form
Out of green uniform and into business dress, our students begin life in the 6th Form

Girls' Choir sing Evensong

On Thursday afternoon, the Girls' Choir sang choral Evensong in the magnificent setting and fine acoustic of Blackburn Cathedral.

The service was led by the Dean of Blackburn and the choir was accompanied by the cathedral's Assistant Director of Music, James Davy. The choir sang a setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimitis by George Dyson and the anthem was "Lord make me an Instrument of thy peace" by Jonathan Willcocks.

As well as rising to the challenge of singing the responses and a psalm for the first time, the girls did themselves proud and sang beautifully. Well done to all involved.
