Our U12B XI has won through to the final of the Year 7 Blackpool & Fylde Cricket League after a close 8 run victory over Baines School U12A team.
Our boys posted 93-3 in their 20 overs with Harry Spracklen's 22 and Joe Welch's 25 not out the batting highlights. Baines batted well in reply but a flurry of wickets when Baines were 65-2 saw them reduced to 65-7 as Andrew Cowburn's leg spin claimed 3-13 and Sam Walton's medium pace bowling took 4-9. Arnold eventually bowled out Baines for 85 to reach the final.
The boys will play either St Mary's HS or Cardinal Allen on Friday.
