The Year of the Dragon
¡Hola!
The Sixth Form lounge was decorated with Spanish flags, bunting and balloons as guests arrived for the recent PFA Spanish Evening.
Greeted by Spanish music and an introductory glass of wine, a mouth-watering array of tapas and other authentic Spanish food was served, including paella, Spanish omelette, Spanish meatballs and mozzarella stuffed peppers.
Two teams made the tie break stage of the Spanish quiz with both able to correctly name the islands constituting the Canaries. Only when asked to do the same for the Balearics could they be separated! The remainder of the evening's entertainment was provided by a DJ.
