Sixth Form Awards for entry in 2011
We are keen to recognise students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability or exceptional ability in Art & Design, Drama, Music or Sport. We do this through the award of scholarships. Competition for the creative awards will take place in the week beginning 29th November 2010. Academic awards are made on the publication of GCSE results.
Through the award of Assisted Places we can offer financial support to students who wish to enter the Sixth Form but who do not wish to be considered for a scholarship. Parents who wish to take advantage of this means of support should contact the Admissions Secretary for an application form and return it as soon as possible. Funds are limited and any delay may mean that support becomes unavailable.
Sixth Form Scholarships and Assisted Places may run alongside any existing awards. Both forms of award are available to any member of Year 11 or to any student entering the Sixth Form from another school.
