Lytham Club Day
Children from the Kindergarten, parents and staff, enjoyed the first ever Arnold School float at Lytham Club Day. The turn out to see the parade was bigger than ever and children in minibeast costumes and nursery staff dressed as ladybirds distributed balloons and sticks of Arnold rock and received applause from the crowds. Placed fourth in our category by the judges, this first outing looks like being the first of many.
Our thanks must go to Mr Anthony Woodman, of Derek Woodman BMW, for the loan of a vehicle and trailer and for driving us through the town, and Mr David Haythornthwaite of Tangerine Holdings Ltd for use of his workshop space. Our parents and children supported with great enthusiasm and took great pride in the float decorated with work produced by children on a framework made in the Design Centre by Mr Ken Huttley. Well done everyone!
