At a well attended Extraordinary General Meeting of Arnold Schools Limited on Friday evening, which included a detailed presentation focusing on how trust membership would strengthen the school's already enviable reputation, performance and ethos, Members of ASL gave their overwhelming support for the School's bid to join the United Church Schools Trust.
This move gives the School an unrivalled opportunity for growth and continued success. Joining the Trust will enable Arnold to share best practice with other high performing schools in the UCST group and so maintain the standards that set the bench mark for schools in the region.
Detailed discussions will now take place between Arnold Governors, Members of Arnold Schools Limited and representatives of UCST with the intention of completing the alliance in June. Over the summer there will then be a significant investment in state of the art ICT facilities and UCST will then work closely with the Governors, Principal and staff to plan the first phase of the multi million pound investment in the School.
Information about UCST can be found on their website at www.ucstrust.org.uk
