The half term break draws to a close
It has been some time since I made an entry to the blog but I have been waiting for our new website to come online. If you are reading this article you can see for yourself that this has happened! We hope that the new site is easier on the eye and easier to navigate than the old one. Nevertheless, the business of converting one website into another is a long and detailed process and there is still much to be done to populate the new site; I hope you will be patient as this may take some time.
As I write, the half term break draws to a close; I trust that you have been able to find some time together as families and that you have had a good break with your children. They will return to a busy period in the run up to Christmas. For some this will include public examinations and for many there is still much to do to ensure that our production of GREASE is of the very high quality that we have all come to expect. Tickets can be obtained from Reception in the Senior School and it would be wonderful to see you at one of the performances. As ever, our games players also have a busy half term ahead of them on the hockey and rugby fields and the musicians have a full programme culminating in the Choir trip to Poland at Christmas.
Over half term we took delivery of the new dining room furniture and the transformation of the old Senior School facility is now complete. With chairs to sit on rather than benches life should also be a little easier for all those parents that give their support on Saturday mornings!
Kind regards
Barry Hughes
