Year 7 netballers battle on
With icy climes reducing our Netball teams considerably, our Year 7 teams recently met King Edward and Queen Mary School for the second time this season.
An unexpected turn of events saw the team reduced to only six players for much of the match, with a key player, Grace Morris (team captain), unable to participate. However, the girls battled on to an unfortunate but entirely understandable loss, their tenacity commendable.
Following on, the B team put in a fine performance, and despite three members of the team never having played before they lost narrowly lost (7/9). The talented Lauren Rowland stood out with an excellent performance.
