Musical activities and ensembles
There are many instrumental and choral groups giving a broad range of opportunities for both our more ambitious musicians as well as those who just want to have some fun.
The School Choir is over 70 strong and performs regularly at school concerts and services. Our Swing Band is in much demand giving many highly acclaimed performances. The Senior Girls' Choir reached the semi-finals of BBC's Songs of Praise national choir competition, has performed live on Radio Lancashire and has toured abroad to Venice, Cologne and to Krakow.
We are fortunate to have a very experienced group of visiting instrumental teachers who can provide a diverse range of private tuition.
Other ensembles include a Concert Band, String Group, Junior Choir, Brass Ensemble, Flute Group, Piano Duet Club and Choral Society.
