Mrs Taylor is a former pupil of Queen Mary School, Lytham where she captained the 1st XI Hockey team. She studied Mathematics at Manchester University from where she returned to the Fylde to take up a career in teaching. For many years she was captain of South Shore Tennis Club, and she has always been keen to help with girls' tennis at school.
