Daniel’s early education took place in Lytham and he is pleased to be back on ‘home ground’. Having graduated from the Royal College of Music in London he first worked as a freelance musician in London, performing professionally in orchestras and in various touring productions.
During this time he gave many recitals for music societies and festivals; worked in the USA coaching chamber music; as part of an ensemble for the ‘Live Music Now’ scheme (to promote the experience of live music amongst people who would not normally have access to it) in different venues around the UK. and delivered education workshops with the Lancashire Sinfonietta at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Following many successful years teaching music at Merchant Taylors’ School in Crosby, he joined Arnold in September 2010. Daniel continues to deliver workshops and adjudicate as a member of the British and International Federation of Festivals.
