A Tale of Two Cities
Old Arnoldian performs in London
It was with great pride that five of our most talented singers joined pupils from other UCST schools and ULT Academies today at a service of Celebration at Lincoln Cathedral, held to mark the 125th anniversary of the Foundation of UCST.
In the magnificent surroundings of the ancient cathedral, and in the presence of the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, our girls joined singers from the other schools in the Trust, including Lincoln Minster School, for whom the cathedral is their local church!
Thanks must go to Miss Church for accompanying the girls and congratulations to Catherine Lusher of Year 11, who was asked to read a short passage, which she did without the slightest trace of nerves - despite the huge congregation! Catherine's fellow choristers were Amy Atkinson and Jenny Bernstein of the U6th and Lauren Au and Amy Clark of Year 11.
