I have always lived and worked in the Blackpool area. I read Physics at the University of Lancaster and went straight into teaching after completing my PGCE. I worked at Millfield HS Thornton for 17 years becoming Head of Y11 and later Head of Physics. I played league basketball for many years and have coached teams since 1992. My teams have won the Lancashire Cup 3 times. The school Basketball Club is very popular and is becoming a strong feature of school sport.
