World Book Day Celebrations

Thursday 2nd March was World Book Day, and the Junior School was awash with colourful costumes. It was good to be reminded of so many fantastic story-book characters, and learn of some new ones, by pupils dress as if they had just leapt from the pages. Celebrations continued on Friday with a super assembly created by the children in class 3S featuring the importance of libraries, especially our own. Thank you children,  Mrs Woodhead and Mrs Fielder. Thank you too, all the parents who have donated books to the Resource Room, and who came along on Thursday to see how much it has improved.

See if you can recognise the characters in the photographs in this gallery. Is your favourite book amongst them?
