Our outstanding Kindergarten creates the ideal foundation for our pupils, stimulating and nurturing their natural curiosity through a plethora of activities and outings and through the constant care and conversation of the committed team of Nursery Nurses.
As pupils progress through the Junior School they benefit from the care and wisdom of a truly dedicated and loyal team of teachers and teaching assistants, working in bright, stimulating and well-resourced classrooms. Specialist rooms enhance this provision allowing pupils to be creative and investigative in an environment specially designed for the purpose.
At Arnold Junior School we have high expectations of our pupils in all aspects of school life, requiring them to achieve the very best that they can and, in return, providing them with the support, guidance and encouragement they need to reach their potential. Our pupils are very considerate of the feelings of others, supporting each other with kind words or gestures, caring for their environment and consequently creating a happy family atmosphere throughout the school.
This positive attitude and team ethos allow us to give the pupils an increased level of responsibility as they move through the school, putting them in the position of leaders, organisers and facilitators in a whole range of situations. Because they perform and achieve in a wide and varied range of opportunities, pupils transfer to the Senior School as confident, well-mannered and independent individuals ready to take on the challenges of the next stage in their education. Close links with the Senior School allow for an easy transition from Year 6 to Year 7 and our pupils already know many of the teachers and much of the environment to which they are moving.
