Feet First
Our speaker this month was Steve Mannion, an orthopaedic surgeon who presented a slideshow to the Ladies Luncheon Club.
He described the work he does in countries like Malawi and Laos. Steve went onto explain the aims of his charity 'Feet First' and how they can achieve them.
He was presented with a cheque for £215 which was the £50 speaker's donation and the proceeds from the raffle. When Steve left early to perform an operation at the Victoria Hospital a spontaneous collection raised a further £508.86 bringing the total to £723.86 for "Feet First". Well done Ladies!
