Following completion of my English Literature degree at Aberystwyth and PGCE at St Martin’s College, Lancaster I spent three productive years as a teacher of English and later Head of House at Skerton Community High School, also in Lancaster.
Outside of teaching, my interests lie in music (having spent many of my formative years playing bass guitar in a variety of unsuccessful bands), reading, rapid consumption of American television drama and spending time with my young family.
