OA at Super Bowl XLVI
Hamish Hamilton OA will be filming Madonna's half-time show for Super Bowl 2012 in Indianapolis this weekend.
The music video and award show director is now one of the hottest international properties in television entertainment. He made his name directing major live music events such as the MTV and BRIT award shows as well as concert tour performances by U2, Madonna and Robbie Williams. Two years ago Hamish directed the 82nd Academy Awards... and also found time to come back to Arnold and speak to fascinated sixth formers about his hugely interesting career.
Hamish directed the half-time show starring 'The Who' for the Super Bowl in 2010, which became the most-watched programme in history when more than 106 million people tuned in to the American football showdown. The game this coming Sunday between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots is expected to be even bigger with another record-setting audience anticipated to watch Madonna perform at half-time.
