Glaramara Day 6
Following the departure of Year 5, who enjoyed a very successful three days at Glaramara, the Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to spend a couple of days on their own. Breakfast was certainly quieter and following the arrival of Miss Allen, the children headed off for morning activities. One group went kayaking, one abseiling and one gorge scrambling so it was certainly an all action session. The sun shone once again as the afternoon sessions started, with orienteering and abseiling on the activity menu.
The children were looking forward to the Saturday evening quiz as Mr Hodgkinson hoped to lead another team to victory in this more cerebral of activities.
This will be the final blog as I have now returned home to catch up on paperwork. There will be a full story on the website soon recounting the highlights of a truly wonderful week.
