Glaramara Day 2
Day 2 got off to a great start with the sun shining and the smell of bacon and egg wafting through the centre. After devouring their full English breakfast (these children can eat for England!) it was off into the glorious sunny Borrowdale Valley for morning activities.
Two groups braved the freezing gorge water and crawled through the rat hole, whilst the other groups went walking, canoeing and climbing. Back for lunch and then afternoon activities and the inevitable Borrowdale rain. The children are now tidying their rooms ready for the room inspections!! Then it's toad in the hole, shepherds pie and lasagne for tea.
