Laying firm foundations
A pivotal element in the school's development strategy is the establishment of the Arnold School Foundation. The Foundation Office maintains and develops relations with all members of the Arnold family and since 2004 the Foundation Office has been managing the database of former pupils.
Following the success of Friends Reunited, many former pupils asked both the Old Arnoldians Association and the school to come up with a more innovative way to stay in touch with each other and the school. At the same time as the Arnold School Foundation was being created, the school, under the watchful eye of Mrs Gillian Connolly, a member of the Governing Council, invested in the purchase of an Internet based software package that allows all former pupils to stay in touch with the school and with each other.
