Coast
Our visit to the Ribble Discovery Centre was interesting and fun.We learned how different birds feed on creatures that live in the mud of the estuary. We also had a map of the area and we had to guess what the symbols stood for and complete the key. When we went outside, we had to orientate and follow the map, ending at the beach. We divided a sheet of paper into four areas and sketched the views north, south, east and west. After lunch we went mud dipping and I sieved out lots of tiny snails and some worms as well. We also worked in groups to make some beach art.
It was a brilliant day.
