Mr White came to Arnold having previously taught at Cheltenham College, an independent boarding school. He initially joined the staff in the Senior School as the Director of the Design Faculty, but before leaving to become the Head of the Junior School in 2001 he had also served in the CCF, was the Senior Master with responsibility for ICT, examinations and general school administration. He has been an HMC School Inspector and is a member of the IAPS, Independent Association of Preparatory Schools.
In September 2007 Mr White took over responsibility for the school's marketing and admissions, a role which allows him to continue to play a part in the wider management of the school and to contribute to whole school initiatives in collaboration with the Principal and the Governing Council. Colin's experience of the school, both Junior and Senior departments, is strengthened by being a father of two Old Arnoldians and one current pupil in the senior school - a daughter who started at Arnold in the inaugural year of the Kindergarten.
