CCF Summer Camp

On Saturday 3rd July Arnold School CCF arrived at Warcop for their annual summer manoeuvres.

The camp was well supported by 32 cadets and 5 members of staff; all of whom enjoyed a fine week of varied activities. The cadets worked through a very busy package of first aid, shooting on both the live ranges and the DCCT, archery, waterman-ship, adventurous training and competitions designed to develop their leadership skills and teamwork. One of the highlights of the week was the Warcop Wanderer exercise that involved the whole contingent training and performing section attacks.

The cadets gained a great deal of knowledge and developed their skills over the week and I would like to thank them for all their efforts. I would also like to thank our own staff and the team at Warcop for all their help and hard work.
