The New Pupils and Parents event was a very enjoyable and successful evening and I would like to thank everyone that came along; we hope that everyone went away happy and excited about the future. Once again, we look forward to welcoming another group of super young children to Arnold in September.
I know that the Year 7 pupils are looking forward to their residential trips to our outdoor education centre at Almond Lodge in Glenridding, which will start soon. I have my fingers crossed that they will have some good weather and I am hoping to be able to get up to see at least one class while they are there.
The new Kindergarten play area is now in full use and this addition to our facilities has been very well received by the children. The Parents' and Friends' Association has made this possible by providing funds, topped up by Blackpool Council, and we are very grateful.
Kind regards
Barry Hughes
