Friday's Principal's Debate proved a very enjoyable event for all involved. Thank you to those that made the effort to attend what turned out to be a lively discussion on the merits, or otherwise, of positive discrimination. That the motion was defeated did not diminish the skill of the speakers on both sides of the house and their participation was very much enjoyed and appreciated.
Saturday's Junior School Open Morning also seemed to attract a great deal of interest and many thanks to those current parents that gave their support.
This week sees two events for our U6 leavers and we have our fingers crossed that the weather will hold for Monday evening's barbecue and again for Thursday's Celebration Evening. We look forward to what should be two enjoyable and moving events as these excellent young people approach the end of their time at Arnold.
A small number of the boys are not looking as smart as we would like at the moment and I would be grateful if parents would ensure that their sons have their hair well groomed and tidy and that the boys visit the hairdresser if their hair is too long for school. Thank you in advance for your support in this matter.
Kind regards
Barry Hughes
