So much happening
Although the children have been trapped indoors for much of the week because of the dreadful weather they have been in busy, good spirits.
The Careers Convention on Tuesday proved popular with pupils and parents; more information about this increasingly important subject can be obtained from Mrs. Thornton here at school.
The revamped House competition kept many of the younger ones busy throughout the week with the Hardspell contest, which was won by Penningtons. We will soon see the first House drama competition.
As well as raising much needed funds for Buigiri, Arnold's Got Talent on Friday provided plenty of drama of its own. For just under an hour, our wonderfully talented youngsters - and a not so young Mr Lee - sang, danced, played and generally entertained us all. Well done to all involved, not least Amy Clark and Francesca Dooley who ran proceedings brilliantly.
Many thanks also to Mrs. Atkins and her team of helpers from the Parents' and Friends' Association who made Saturday's Christmas Fayre such a success. This event seems to get bigger every year and really gets us all in to the Christmas spirit at this dark, damp time of year.
I went along to see GREASE rehearsals this afternoon and was so impressed. Please try not to miss it. Tickets are selling fast but a few are still available from Reception in the Senior School.
Several people have asked me about Colin White. Unfortunately he is poorly again and may well be away from school for some time. I will let you have more news when I get it.
Best wishes
Barry Hughes
