December 1st
I am pleased to tell you that our Director of Drama, Mr Snell, is now back at work, albeit in a reduced capacity for the moment. He is slowly recovering from his serious illness and it is expected that he will be assisted by Mr Kerr until he is able to resume full time duties.
The Carol Service on Sunday 14th December promises to be a lovely Arnold occasion. Do join us if you can and "kick start" your run up to Christmas in traditional fashion.
Our end of term production, Oliver, is progressing very well indeed. The Friday evening performance is now sold out, although we have a few tickets left for the other two shows. Do get your tickets soon if you would like to see what promises to be another tremendous show.
With the safety of our children in mind, may I make another plea to car drivers to avoid waiting on the double yellow lines or the zig zag markings outside school, particularly in the season of dark mornings and afternoons. I am told that we should expect to see Traffic Wardens in the area in the run up to Christmas and transgressors might well find themselves with a penalty.
Life in both the Junior and Senior School is going to be hectic as we approach the end of term. It seems that your children will do well to avoid the various bugs going around and, of course, as things get really busy they might be even more tired than usual. Good luck!
All good wishes
Barry Hughes
