Drama Dinner
A celebration of Arnold drama at the Clifton Arms Hotel
More than 100 Arnold School pupils, staff and parents were involved in the Blackpool 10K Fun Run on Sunday 11th May. Conditions on Blackpool’s promenade were warm and sunny: near perfect for both runners and spectators. Arnold pupils dressed in a plethora of different outfits had a fantastic day and were cheered on by a large group of supporters. This year over thirty Arnold pupils and staff assisted with the marshalling of the event: giving out water and medals to the thousands who successfully completed the course. Even our junior pupils, too young to take part in the 10K, have been taking part in the Junior Fun Run held at Arnold this afternoon, see the accompanying web article.
The School is very proud of its involvement with the Fun Run and is delighted to be supporting the Blackpool’s A Knockout Appeal. The Mayor, Councillor Robert Wynne, supported by his wife, Mayoress Gaynor Wynne, has worked incredibly hard over the last year. Over many years our pupils, staff and parents have demonstrated their generosity and willingness to work for the benefit of others and in so doing have raised over £75,000.
Pictures of the event can be seen below.
