Each Summer Term both the boys and the girls compete in a number of athletics matches and competitions. With so many events, the only real way to make personal improvements and to gain new personal best performances is by practising regularly. By attending the many practice sessions you will have the opportunity to practice your own technique, run faster and to throw or jump higher and further.
Athletics training will, of course, also assist with developing fitness by increasing stamina, speed and power. Such improvements will help to gain selection for not only the school team, but also the possibility of Town and County teams.
