Examination Success
Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students. This year's results are very pleasing indeed, and the vast majority of the students are now on their way to their chosen university, including five that will go on to study medicine or dentistry. Rosalind Meehan, who will go up to Cambridge University to read Classics, and David Rowley, who will go up to Oxford to read Physics, both secured 6 A grade passes each and are to be congratulated!
With an overall pass rate of 100%, the individual results include many outstanding performances, with 12 students achieving three or more A grades, and 8 achieving A grades in all subjects. In fact, close on half of the year group managed either A or B in all subjects taken.
The Principal, Mr Hughes, said of the results "I am delighted that some of the best universities in the UK will soon welcome even more students from Arnold. The vast majority of our youngsters are well placed to embark on the next stage of their education and we wish them every success."
