ALLC supports school and local charities

During the 2010-2011 academic year, Arnold Ladies' Luncheon Club (ALLC) donated £450 towards the purchase of a camera and accessories for use around school as well as £380 for computer software updates for the Music Department.

The ALLC also made various charitable donations. £282 was donated to Breast Cancer Research from the profits of raffles at two "pink" May lunches and £175 was donated to 177 Squadron (Blackpool Airport) ATC for "Operation Aquarius".

Money raised by the stallholders' fees at the November lunch enabled the ALLC to donate £350 to the Children's Adventure Farm Trust, which provides outdoor adventure activities for disabled and underprivileged children in the North West.

The first monthly luncheon of this academic year, featuring a fashion show by JR Taylor, takes place at The Grand Hotel on Wednesday 16th November.
